1. Full Nelson
This is the song by Limp Bizkit I find myself listening to the most often. The verse has a cool repeating structure in the vocals and the chorus has one of the best lines ever: “‘Cause your mouth’s writing checks that your ass can’t cash“. […] Read more!
That’s right folks, and you can hear me tweeting on my Twitter channel @OttoMadCraft! Follow me to get information about playing drums and making drum covers. Besides that the only purpose for my channel seems to be to upload absurd pictures of me or my drums.
I’m a bit outsider when it comes to social media. I guess I’m social enough outside of the web or just lazy to make accounts. Tom kept insisting on me to open a Twitter account due to the growing following of my drum videos we post on YouTube. […] Read more!
We’ve been recording some new songs lately. Today we recorded some backing and group vocals for a new song. We always do some parts with all of us singing. Preferably in harmonies. So basically when you listen to the chorus of any of our songs you can hear us all singing.
One thing I really like in a song is those parts when all of us are singing as one group. Makes any song instantly at least twenty times better. […] Read more!
We were recording some more guitars last sunday with Tom. Even though there are tons of different modelling technologies out there for guitar recording, we decided to go the old school way. Instead of just plugging the guitar into the audio interface and record the direct signal, we plugged our guitars in to our amps and used Shure SM57 to mic the cabinets.
Just like always, we dialed two different sounds: one using Tom’s gear and one using mine. […] Read more!
1. Jasey Rae
A classic ATL track. If I recall correctly, this was the song that made them break out to a larger public. And I might not be wrong in remembering that it happened through the hated but so widely used MySpace! […] Read more!
I went to see Tomahawk play live at Circus, Helsinki last night. I’m a big fan of charismatic versatile vocalists like Devin Townsend or Mike Patton. And while Tomahawk isn’t really my favorite of Patton’s bands I was happy to hear them arriving to Helsinki.
I had seen Patton performing live four times before this. Three times on the Faith No More reunion tour and one time with Mondo Cane. Tomahawk definitely falls to the FNM end of the spectrum performance-wise. […] Read more!
When I bought my first amp I had no idea what kind of sound I was after and I really didn’t know anything about different manufacturers. The guy in the music store advised me to start with a Line 6 combo, which models different amps. I used that at home and on few small gigs for years, but deep inside I still knew that the combination of a Line 6 modeling amp and a combo is not suitable for playing real shows. […] Read more!
All Time Low have just released a new song called “A Love Like War” with Vic Fuentes from Pierce the Veil featuring on the vocals. The song is taken from the second edition of Don’t Panic: “Don’t Panic It’s Longer Now”.
We all love All Time Low – especially the first two albums – so we decided to let you guys know how this one resonates with us. Check out the video below and find out if A Love Like War is our new favorite! […] Read more!
If you read Juho’s post from a while back, you already know we played a show at Wanuvarock in Varkaus about a week ago. We got some pics from the show and they were pretty good so we decided to post some here for you guys. Enjoy!

Briefly in Finnish:
Kuten yltä näkyy, saatiin lisää kuvia Varkaudesta ja päätettiin pistää näytille. Kiitokset Olli Leipälälle hienoista kuvista. Oli hauskaa käydä Varkaudessa soittamassa, vaikka meinattiinki eksyä matkalla. […] Read more!
Like I worte yesterday, we had another acoustic gig today. It was at Paloheinä which is a suburb area in northern Helsinki. They had a day event where they had all kind of happenings and one of them was us. In all our glory.
And despite what you see in the photo Jesse was there too. He was the one taking it in fact.
And just like I predicted yesterday. The more the better. Having Jesse there already made the gig way better than yesterday. […] Read more!
