From the start I knew that 2.8 constant aperture zoom is the lens that I need the most. There are two two such lenses for micro four thirds: Panasonic 12-35 and Olympus 12-40. I decided to go for Olympus mainly because it’s Olympus (and I have Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark 2), and here’s what I think about this lens.

I got the Olympus M.Zuiko 14-42/3.5-5.6 EZ ED pancake kit lens with my Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark 2. Since it’s my only lens right now, I have to shoot every situation with it. It’s really compact while the camera is turned off, so E-M5 mark 2 combined with this lens fits in my pocket. As the camera is turned on, the lens extends a bit, but is still very little.
